i believe ni saka ang drugs sugod atong ni apil ang CHR. ni lay low ang DDS.
but comparable to other cities in the philippines. drug cases in the davao is considerably lower say in manila or cebu.

in my opinion drugs cannot be totally eradicated. miskan asa ka na lugar o nasud. it can only be minimized, harder to acquire making the exposure to drugs less likely. mao na mga users sa davao mu biyahe pa sa laing lugar sama anang padada. tagum. gensan etc. ka mahal sa shabu sa davao oi ang uban gikan pa sa mga ka musliman like marawi ug maguindanao and mostly kung asa ka mu score ngadto na tiktikan na sa pdea. last week akong migo na buybust sa boulevard. i also have another friend that happened to him last year. as what others told me gi himo sya ug asset, i for one doubt it.

anyway there is a more recent article about drugs in davao. i would like to share.

THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is monitoring more than a thousand suspected drug traders and users in Davao City alone.
PDEA-Davao Region officer-in-charge Emerson Rosales said among the 1,092 identified drug peddlers and users are politicians.
Some of them are mayors from other areas who have houses in Davao City, Rosales said, adding the agency is gathering strong evidences against them.

Rosales admitted that most illegal drug supply in Davao City and region are coming from the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Armm), particularly in Marawi.
A few years back, Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte publicly identified one mayor from Maguindanao as involved in the illegal drug trade. The accused mayor, however, denied Duterte's accusation.
Rosales, however, stopped short from linking the powerful Maguindanao politicians to the illegal drug trade.
He, however, revealed that the PDEA had already dismantled 11 clandestine shabu laboratories in Cotabato area alone.

He added that after the infamous Maguindanao massacre in November 2009, the drug supply in Davao City has remarkably decreased.
But PDEA and the Davao City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (Cadac) raised alarm Friday on the noted increase in drug supply in Davao City in 2011.
Cadac head Eliseo Braganza said they have monitored significant increase in the number of illegal drugs confiscated and monitored since January.
Braganza said they are now fortifying their 182 barangay anti-drug abuse councils as their front liners in the fight against illegal drugs.
Task Force Davao is also tasked to help PDEA in the supply reduction campaign program by preventing the entry of drugs into the city.

How are the sales doing there?
How are your clients? Where are they from mostly?
Do you tell them EJK are the way you control criminals in Davao?

I don't think killing people solve problems. Even if you kill criminals, killing them makes you a criminal as well. If criminals have victims that have hatred on them, and so do you(the people behind EJK). I don't think all of the poeple of Davao are pro EJK. In my opinion, maybe they won't stand against those behind the EJKs because they fear being the targets. If its easy to kill a criminal, then it would be easy to kill a person criminal or not.

This is the point that these people (pro-vigilante + pro-duterte) will never get into their heads. They cry rivers for the victims but they can't seem to understand that you don't help victims by creating more victims. They say they are for peace and order but they don't want to live in a civilized society ruled by laws.

ang tinuod nga rason ngano daghan drug addik sa davao, dili ang CHR, pero tungod kay wa silay lingaw. Kasagaran sa mga drug addict, bored na sa life, mau na mag drugs. Kung ganahan si Duterte nga ma-solbar ang drugas sa Davao, ang angay niya buhaton, i-develop iyang ciudad arun mahimong alegre, kai bored kaau ang mga batan-on didto wa silay kalingawan mau na mag drugs nalang =)

Dili EJK ang solution, kungdi kalingawan.. hahaha.
