If you have the power what shall you do? of course you want to control everything.. it is business.

Pero TS bias raka on what you perceived, dili lang unta ang mga bati imong gibantayan, apila pud ang nindot nila nga gi buhat. Then diha nata mo conclude, if gi brain washed ta sa CNN, BBC ug FOX kanang imo reference wala sad kaha ka gi brain washed?

Everyone can express their opinion but do not conclude or put an end on a topic, ni post raka ug article from other author, he might be bias on what he perceived also.

on my opinion, this is one way to maintain the balance in this world. Wala man cguro duha ka hari sa usa ka gingharian.

Default Re: MERGED: The Arab Spring

just a few months more and it will be a year (December Tunisian uprising) when the Arab Spring began and there is still no stopping the major regime shake-ups that are happening in the Arab world.

to date these have been the countries that have been experiencing either full fledged civil wars, revolts, isolated uprisings, and various forms of protests.

    (courtesy of Wikipedia)

some major regime changes were seen as the aftermath of the following events:

    Tunisian revolution
    Egyptian revolution
    Libyan civil war
    Syrian uprising
    Yemeni uprising

other countries in the Arab world also experienced protests with varying success.

    Algeria
    Bahrain
    Iraq
    Israeli border
    Jordan
    Morocco
    Oman
    Saudi Arabia

all eyes are now on Syria with its violent crackdown on protesters; the viciousness of which has reached the halls of the United Nations, with a European-backed sanction against Syria vetoed by both China and Russia in the UN Security Council.

on the other hand, a welcome development has emerged out of Saudi Arabia with King Abdullah announcing that women were now allowed to vote (but still not allowed to drive).

    Default MERGED: Libya's Ghadafi Dead

Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi, the most wanted man in the world, has been killed, the country's rebel government claimed today.

The flamboyant tyrant who terrorized his country and much of the world during his 42 years of despotic rule was cornered by insurgents in the town of Sirte, where Gadhafi had been born and a stronghold of his supporters.

The National Transition Council said that its fighters found and shot Gadhafi in Sirte, which finally fell to the rebels today after weeks of tough fighting.
