Even Cuba is far from pure communism, Cuba is just like other former and recent communist countries where it really led by a small group of Politburo and the highest of them by position is practically a dictator therefore Cuba is really a politburo dictatorship led by Fidel Castro and Raul Castro. Cuba now realize that communism really failed and adopted some free-market measures like private property and private enterprise however the capitalist revolution in Cuba is holding back by the anti-Castro Cuban emigres in Miami which they well represented at the US Congress. If the US lifts the Cuban embargo within 5 years, Cuba will prosper economically and will have a good shot to enter a developed economic status in the future.
