helloooo folks!

my name's ena. i met a couple of guys at the expo. adjao? and the sonic the hedgehog blue shirt guy. wasn't able to catch his name. i got my hedgie Spike"spikey"Lee last month. i'm in love with my little buddy. been reading a few of the previous pages. hedgies are awesome! haha

he got mites a few days after i got him. must've been the stress. kept reading up on everything hedgie online since i knew NOTHING.nada.zilch about em before this. brought him to the vet. animal wellness in banilad to see Dr.Guills. the one and only exotic vet in the city. he's great btw. i got to see the mites under the microscope and then Spikey got treated orally with ivermectin. read up that they're supposed to be really bad, fatal even. so when i went back for the second shot, i asked for revolution which is supposed to be much much safer but they didn't have at that time so i had to give Spikey a couple of oil baths. i guess it's working but we'll only know for sure after we go back for the follow up. he's not scratching so much anymore.

oh my, Trexie been's scratching sad and I thought epekto lang sa iya quilling....
I just gave her a bath and oatmeal bath... then dili na xa mu scratch...

ooohh i actually saw little dots moving about and i brought him to the vet and they swabbed him. looked under the scope just to be sure. mites jud. he lost quite a few quills after his treatment. scared me a whole lot. could be quilling still? he's a little over 4mos. no bald spots. little ones growing in also. could be the scratching daw making them fall off. worried if it was malnutrition. been feeding him whiskas. read all over na it's not really that good. actually a lot of the commercial cat foods readily available aren't really that great. wouldn't go near his carrots soo i got baby food. for some reason, wala juy gerber so i ended up getting him organic baby food from healthy options. mkabuang! haha. ooohh and for his dry skin i read about putting a few drops of flaxseed oil in his food. healthy options ra sad naa so i ended up taking the capsules myself also pra di sad usik kaau. hahahaha!
