silent-Kill, agree ko sa imoha nga giingon sa usa sa advantage sa lock-in period mao nang duna kai work for the lock-in pero it depends gihapn sa imoha performance. About sa market value dili angay ma worry kai pila rman pagdagan sa panahon ug segurado mas modako pa ang imohang market value after two years or sa imong lock-in period. Advantage kaayo sa mga fresh grad ang lock-in it will give them more time and experience to enhance their skill. But if you think you are a master already pwede man pud ka mag contractor then renew2 nalang. Dako ug sweldo ang contractor wala lay masyadong benefits.

Also share ko lang I am a former ACN. All I could say that they have saved me from a rotten skill and retool me into an old trick which is very much marketable today and in demand coz most of the institution is not teaching it and its technology is very much expensive so for me swerte na kaayo ko na nakasulod sa ACN. Nindot kaayo ang training sa ACN dili lang ka ma develop technically but also your soft skills. Also you will belong to a CMII level company dako kaayo ni ug impact sa imoha resume. Also it is known worldwide humot kaayo ka abroad if you plan to apply overseas. Also they offer onshore oppurtunities to deserving individuals.

Let's face reality mga bro, there are a few companies in Cebu which is offering the same compensation like ACN. Dako na kaayo na na tabang sa Cebuano na nag open ang accenture sa Cebu. Also ACN adds more competition on IT companies in Cebu which means you will have more choices to choose from ug ka2ng mga barat na company mapugos na sila ug compete which is a good thing for employees diba?

Right now I am currently working abroad and I give thanks to ACN because they greatly contributed to my success here. I am happy also kay duna na sila sa Cebu pwede nako makaapply ug balik if I decided to go back home for good na with my family.

Ako lang ika advice atong aspiring applicant i try ninyo ang accenture and see for yourself as the saying goes "No guts no Glory". Pero the final decision is in your hands. Anyway they will give you time man na basahon ang contract if luckily ma hire mo dili pud sila mamugos if dili mo modayon.

In my opinion pud wala man siguro gi look down sa Accenture ang mga Cebuano kay dili man pud na below industry average ang ilaha g offer for me lang I think they like the services of the Cebuanos working in ACN Manila mao siguro nag open sila sa atoa they have the confidence to us so let's prove it and give it our best shot. Ok ba mga bro.

yeap... this time its arlene or aileen ug katong lalaki la ko kahibaw unsa iyahang name.... lahi man to tawag nako last week gud. she informed me that they have lodged my resume and application sa ilang CFO... chief financial officer... dont knw when sila tawag balik... basta ingon rato sila nga just keep my line open at all times....probably thru phone rapod siguro ilang CFO mo interview....

just would like to knw if naay istoryans nga nahire na sa accenture cebu? in finance department specifically? nya how was it?

ang mga IT companies sa cebu nag recalibrate sa ilang compensation since ACN arrived here last year. wa lang sila kabalo na barat kaayo ang ACN. sssshh... ayaw saba kai pabor na ni nato.

just a thought. what if kung ang ilang hiring kay para manila... sugot ka? mostly hiring man gud nila finance kay para manila jud. halos tanan klaseng job specification naa didto. uban gani, wala nako kaila unsa nga jobs na. mas maayo unta kung naka ask ka sa nanawag nimo kung para asa man jud ang hiring. kay kung diri sa cebu gani mu apply pud ko. hehe... btw, did you send your resume online? or niadto ka sa ilahang bldg.?

maw sad na akong na-notice nila. murag sa hiring process, dili kaayo klaro kung unsa na position ang available or ang ila ihatag nimo unless you ask. i would advise nga ask jud para at least kahibaw ka if ganahan ba ka kay usahay, dili nya mao imo gusto na position ihatag =) just a thought

thanks mga bro... atleast im aware... basta niingon to siya nga willing ba ko ma assign sa manila...my answer is, i would be glad if diri ko cebu lang... nya bahalag training sa manila... basta for good diri cebu.... hasol kaayo ang traffic manila oi... grrrr...sapoton jud kog traffic... makasepok sa ulo.

@anthonx... i applied online bro.... gikalimtan naman lang gani to nako kay murag taod-taod naman gud... basta murag sa jobstreet rato nako napost ang resume nako... as far as i recall...

with regards to what particular section ko ma fit-in... gi ask raman akong audit experience and some general accounting experiences... basta OK rako basta finance functions...

thats why murag kampante ko nga finance team ilang pangita... ang kaparat lang or big question is kun dili sa cebu i assign...

grabe ka hinay ang recruiting sa call center nila ... 48 years. im not sure if pooling sila or hiring.
pass ka resume today. next month paka tawgan. tawgan ka today, next month pa ang follow up

eventually mo expand man jud padung ilang bpo services diri cebu pero ang question is when man jud. naa na ba sila fix nga date or pending ang expansion kay mag apan sa ila clients. pero i think that the most likely thing to happen is that ma hire ka nila unya assign sa manila nya when mag expand na sila ila financial services sa cebu kay usa ka sa pioneer. just a thought!
