kiwawan ko kung dagkong tao puro mag english. pero kung mga bata gagmay especially mga pre schoolers, understandable na mag english ang adult nila kay mao man gud ang medium na gamiton mostly sa schools having playroom up to k2. kung dili e train nag mga toddlers/liitle children og english, ma left out sa school.

Have no problem whatsoever with English speaking Filipinos , people are different , culture could be different , way of thinking , and many more variables. I don't judge people whether they speak English or visayan .

It's great for me, since I'm a foreignor. I wouldn't visit or want to live in your country if I couldn't be understood.

I'd just like to say that it's fine for me if people don't speak English perfectly. It's great to just be trying. I want to learn Cebuano, but of course I won't be very good at it for a long time, probably. But if I don't try, how will I learn? It's the same with English; if you want to get good at it then speak it even if you aren't good at it and one day you will be.

According to my father dearest, English would be a good way of communicating ESPECIALLY when you're with foreigners. More than once have I graced and wowed foreign clientele with perfectly practiced English. The funny and slightly racist part about it is they usually say "For a Filipina, you have excellent English"

Filipino/Tagalog on the other hand is fine, but it's somehow become a dying language since not too many people (including myself) can speak one straight sentence of Tagalog.

I guess it's up to your diskarte IMHO.

If used in the right time and the right place
and is proper, then it's fine,
but if flaunted, then it is now tainted with hypocrisy.
