Why did God create evil?

The thing with the Bible is: WHY SO MUCH SYMBOLISM? Why can't it just state things in simple terms? Did God assume that we would have exactly the same way of interpreting these Bible verses? The Bible is such a confusing piece of literature.

I can't imagine you're saying Bible is a confusing literature. How could it be? . Bible is the most popular and best seller book in the world.

To answer your question, well, its because, it God's words, same thing when Jesus teaches his apostles, he gives a lot of parables. Bible is being studied by Bible scholars and they did some interpretations and translation to several languages. Meaning, in fact our recent Bible now is more understandable compared to previous versions, not counting the versions already created by the King James. Just like in Revelations, it shows a lot of symbolic terms, signs of the second coming of Jesus. But if you are a constant reader of the bible, there are lots of verses that explains these symbolic terms. Anyway, we maybe out of topic then if I discuss this further. Cheers!

i've read so many posts about "god","evil" and bla blas... so far... only one convince me...

evil is only a term used to describe his absence...

the christian god can't be absent because he is omnipresent as what christians believe. now if he was absent in all "evil" situations, meaning he just lets evil happen, then he is not omnipresent and all-powerful because he cant stop the evil situation from happening. now why is that? why does evil and suffering happen every hour of everyday in the world. could god be resting and getting tired of his work, or doesnt he exist at all... now i wouldnt wanna get to that...
