kinsa ni si Smith, kato ni siyang puti na player..hhhmmm

The Hornets was said to be interested with Rudy Fernandez but he turned down the trade with the Hornets. He is not interested to be the SG of CP3 and definitely not playing with Monty the ex assistant of the Blazers.. I don't know if a player can actually turn down a trade.

Don Nelson To Resign As Warriors Coach

Don Nelson will resign as coach of the Warriors, CSNBayArea.com has learned from two sources close to the situation.

The announcement is scheduled to take place on Monday.

Nelson, the NBA's all-time coaching leader in victories with 1,335 wins, will be replaced by longtime Warriors assistant coach Keith Smart, according to both sources. Nelson holds a career coaching record of 1,335-1,063 (.557).

Nelson had two stints as Warriors head coach. He compiled a 277-260 record from 1988-1995 before leaving to coach in New York and Dallas. He returned in 2006 and the next season he led the Warriors to their first playoff appearance since '94, a dramatic upset of the No. 1 seeded Dallas Mavericks.

He is a three-time Coach of the Year.

Tuesday, Sept. 28 is the first practice of the season. The Warriors open the regular season Oct. 27 against Houston.

As a player, Nelson won five NBA titles with the Boston Celtics.

Nelson was scheduled to earn $6 million this season, the last on his contract. Last season the Warriors were 26-56 and beset by injuries. Nelson missed games because of illness.

Long-time owner Chris Cohan sold the Warriors franchise to a new ownership group headed by Joe Lacob and Peter Guber in July.

^ Good thing the team is heading to a right direction. Don Nelson is an amazing coach (1,335-1,063 record; all-time leader in wins) -- although he never lift the team to a good record -- but for the sake of the new ownership, getting rid of him is a pretty much a good thing if they want to turn a new page.
Like Obama said, "it's time for a change"

Golden State should thank Don Nelson for a good piece and possibly the biggest upset in NBA history.

    Yao Injures Right Ankle

Yao Ming turned an ankle during Wednesday's practice, but it was not a source of concern.

The incident was with his right ankle, not on the surgically repaired left side.

"It's not bad," Yao said. "I'll be back tomorrow. It happens. I step on people's foot."

It is not Yao Ming's fault. He probably was drinking milk and playing toys with toxic chemicals in it when he was young. The result a brittle bones...tsk tsk.
