Am not much of a cook but i doo cook once in awhile(much to the desdain of my housmates jejeje). Got this from experience, mostly based on my taste and how i want things.

    1. When making chopsuey, i dont mix the veggies but instead make the "sauce" first. This keeps the dish from tasting too veggie like. I just stir fry the veggies or gisa for a hint of attitude then just pour untop the sauce. I make it also a point to add lil cornstarch to give the sauce body and make em stick to the veggies.

    2....jejeje kalimot ko sa uban

    HT,
It also keeps your veggies from being to soggy, nice and quick to make your veggies crisp. Similar to Chinatown, make wok hot, add veggies, pour sauce, stirfry quick, add a bit of starch and place on plate. Yum

mas maayo ug teachers ang ICAAC atbang sa girls high than the school sa banawa. most of their students pud makatrabaho dayun in the hotels and cruise ships abroad.
naa sad sila buffet lunch na gi-cook and serve by the students themselves.

Ive been to 2 of the best culinary institutes in US if not in the world . CIA and Cordon Bleu , all I can say is grab the oppurtunity of working in cruise ships , it will give you a better view of the rest of the world while discovering new heights in the art of cooking exploring weird ingredients while mastering the kitchen duties .

Default COOKING TIPS AND TRICKS IN THE KITCHEN...

Perfect Boiled Eggs every time: Set the burner to med-high. Boil some water in the pot-- enough to cover the eggs. Place the eggs in the boiling water. By adding the eggs after the water boils, the shell won't stick to the egg, it will be easier to peel the eggs.

For really soft boiled egg: boil the eggs for 5 minutes
For hard boiled egg: boil the eggs for 12 minutes

PLEASE SHARE YOURS IF YOU HAVE ANY COOKING TIPS OR TRICKS IN THE KITCHEN. THANK YOU.

You mean you have to heat the water before you put the egg?
