define use for work, could it be your work network has strict settings? Because I along with alot of other users seem to have gotten ours fine.
I use it for work, customers send me emails. Friends send me emails. My family uses those email addys too. It's all around, definitely no restrictions. We are just talking about hotmail and yahoo addresses here huh. Nothing out of the ordinary.
If you and other users got them fine, then good for you.
Your accounts are all there. Either you are too lazy to read announcements or simply not able to comprehend what they say. Either way, not our fault you can't access them.
Well, I can say this is a good line to belittle people. Funny, ain't it. Lazy to read announcements? Simply not able to comprehend what they say? I say, either it's the new system's glitches or you just don't know what new improvements do the new server need to undergo. Tsk... tsk... Yeah, it's more easy to blame it on people, I should have known better.
Whose fault could it be for ANYONE to lose their account? Before we migrated, people had weeks to ensure that their e-mail address was in order. After the migration, there was a pop-up for DAYS telling everyone what to do if they couldn't get into their account. The announcement is still up on how to get your accounts back. It is as simple as sending me an e-mail telling me who you are, what is your username, and your e-mail address with the old iSTORYA. BeoR be-littled no one ... he told it how it is. Your account is still in the system, but you neither put effort into reading announcements weeks ago or put the effort into reading them now. Facts don't belittle people ... if facts belittle you, then there you go ... you've belittled yourself. Stop crying wolf, the big man has hurt you when users have been provided every possible avenue without holding their hands to recover their account. I have personally helped over 100 people recover their accounts. Most were recovered via a simple e-mail and those that weren't, I even went though it with them step by step via Yahoo! Chat. If your username was changed, tough luck, users feeling good about their username is not a priority right now. We will ask for requests to change to their original username in time, but we will get there when we get there.
I am sorry, I can't provide a house-call service for free to recover your account. Some things (like reading & understanding) you will have to do on your own
