pwede riversand, or commercial substrates like aquasoil..
pwede ra ... na a na mga LED products intended for planted aquarium .. nindot tanawun kay mga nipis ra kaayo , peru if light output para nq di pa sya ingun ana ka ksug.. ^^^

**ADA Iwagumi Challenge @ Cebu (Insular Square, Mandaue City) on July 31 - August 4, 2013**

kusog man guro ang LED lights for planted tanks katong mga high output. perti lang jung mahala. hehehe
i believe nga inert na ang riversand... (correct me if i'm wrong) so it means wa xai nutrients.. you could say that bati ang riversand if i-compare nimo xa sa mga commercial substrates but layo rasad kaayo ug price difference.. but riversand is perfectly fine used alone or used with a layer of clay beneath it . it has been tested by hobbyists here and abroad.. so far nabuhi ra akong plants with clay and riversand without dosing fertilizers,. though ferts would be greatly beneficial to plants. just my two cents .
