So Laker Fans you think we should bid on Boozer? , and out of the 16.8 mill he is slated to have next year how much of that should be we bid for ?? , as per the amnesty bidding process.

The way it works is , a team will need to have roughly $1.5 million in salary cap space in order to bid on Boozer. Teams submit their bids without knowing what other teams are offering up in the process. The highest bid claims Boozers and pays him that bid price for next season. If a team has a winning bid of $3 million, they'll pay Boozer $3 million and that salary will be subtracted from the money Chicago owes him. In the example of Boozer making $3 million because of the bid, the Bulls would owe him $13.8 million of the $16.8 million he's slated to make next season.
If nobody ends up bidding on Boozer, he'll become an unrestricted free agent and will be free to sign with any team.

Kuhaa na si Carlos Boozer maski 1 yr contract ra kay sayang pud ang contributions aning tawhana
Maypa ni sogot ang lakers ato sign-n-trade sa bulls da atleast they would have boozer to fill-in gasol spot and also would not affect there future salary cap... also Lakers tried to recruit Nowitzki but rejected, atleast they tried hoping to save this season ... Report: Nowitzki rejected max from Lakers, Rockets, to take three-years, $25 million in Dallas | ProBasketballTalk.....

Couldn't agree more Boss Ke-25... Nowitzki in all the years he was in Dallas he was given what he wants now he repaid back by taking less and be loyal to the team... Speaking about free agents , the list of free agents is getting dry and the lakers still have lot of players to fill , one FA that hopefully lakers might consider would be Evan turner, former 2nd overall pick with still something to prove.. If they want to atleast be better than last year they must act know or this might be another worst season , still no coach (75 days and counting), incomplete line-up with limited FA
I agree on FA's , Tick Tock Jim .... On a coach Tick Tock Jim ... pick already ... personally i really wanted Hollins , I'm not happy we didn't take care of that one. Hopefully we will know the ultimate plan soon. As for Evan , not too high on the guy , Deng is still available right , Boozer just got realeased , who else lemme grab a list ..

Any coach would be hesitant to take the gig due to Kobe's influence to the team and front office. I don't think coaches except for PJax can contain Kobe's attitude. Considering the recent hiring on coaches, teams also offered a front office position. I wouldn't be surprised if coaches want the same thing as well with the Lakers. Interviewing Bryon Scott longer than Mike Brown's coaching stint in 2011, something is telling me that Scott want more than a coaching gig.
