to be honest, i have mixed feeling about carmelo coming to LA, i want them to build on younger guys instead of veterans. but if its really what they want, then i'm supporting it.

It's funny you're labelling me as a "Laker hater" without any proofs. Just because I've been correcting you guys on your postings that contains unsupported "facts", I've become a "Laker hater". Pathetic! When I said this team was going towards rebuilding due to Kobe eating out large chunk of the team's salary cap - even so in the next couple of years.

When I joined this forum in 2010, the Lakers committed to $56,329,250 in just for 3 players when the salary cap was set to $58 million. When you have that kind of salary situation when the lockout was set to happen and majority of the owners were talking about implementing an NHL-style hard cap, it's not going to work well for ya. That season, you guys were confident for a 3 peat only that you guys got embarrassed by the Mavs and your players were throwing unsportsmanlike tantrums.

With a little cap space, roster weren't playoff caliber anymore, PJax leaving, and looming hard cap implementation ... how was that going to work well for your team? You guys were cynical and denying it and calling me a "Laker hater" because of it. Well ... look at your team now.

Oh, for the record, you were hoping thewould sign Melo, and now you're changing your tone.

btw while waiting for the decision... just in-case lakers missed out melo , lakers should try to get this players who still have something to prove like Jimmer Fredette and CDR .. it would be again a 1 year rental and who knows they guys just need playing time to improve...
