It is worth remembering that bird photographers have been taking good photographs since the 1930s with gear that did not come close to what we have today.

The important thing is to concentrate on making the best pictures you can with the equipment you have while trying to improve and expand your gear as you progress. It helps immensely to know the behavior of birds.

Cebu is very fortunate for being one boat ride away from Olango Island Wildlife Sanctuary.
