Indeed, we have to weigh the pros and cons should we amend the present constitution. As far as our legislators are concerned, they have admitted, regardless on whether they are from the administration or the opposition, which we really need to amend the constitution.

If that's the case, why not pursue a dialogue that will really work for the needs of the people?

Change the system. If the system fails, then lets change the guys running the system. if that fails... perhaps it's time to migrate?? hehehe. just kidding. perhaps we have to change something again. But i do believe that if we dont change then we will be left behind.

Hopefully the Supreme Court could provide a very-well written decision on this case.

they have already provided a good decision for the case but the Palace seems to be so enthusiastic with the matter that they want to defy the SC's decision for the matter...in my opinion, CHA CHA should be done after the ARROYO administration and also minus the present ppl who run the congress...THATS THE BEST THING TO DO...wait for ARROYO to step down or end her term before cha-cha is done.

If ever the issue will be raised before the Supreme Court, i would still believe on judicial independence rather than cast doubt on what would be the decision of the court. Sometimes, too much speculation would rather give us doubts instead of giving trust to our institutions. As such, I'd rather not speculate.
