All they need is food, shelter and quality time. If dog food, mas nindot kung premium dog food ang imo ihatag. Naa may barato nga dog food so let's assume about 1.5k for dog food per 15 kls. Mine is consuming about 25 kilos more or less per month. Then the water, mineral water lang ang amo ipainom niya para safe jud. Naa pa jud na ang leashes, collars or harness, chew toys, brush, shampoo and playpen/cage. Kausa ra hinuon na nimo paliton. Optional ra sad ang treats but they are good for training. Supplements and vitamins sad diay. I give mine Yakult weekly and cod liver oil daily.
If you ever wish to take care of one, dili man ka sa budget mag focus ani nila. Mas mag invest man ka todo sa time. They have special needs too like you have to walk them at least 30mins to an hour everyday. You have to train them and socialize them to dogs and humans. Kung masakit man sila or way gana, you have to be there. Like mine, dili jud sya mukaon kaayo basta wala ko so I would be standing near him for 5-10 mins to watch him eat. Usahay gani for 20 minutes kay naay time nga dili nya hutdon ang iya food and I would really impose on him to finish his food by putting the bowl near his face. He would continue to eat naman until mahurot na jud sya.
You would also be checking everytime to check his needs. Nakamata gani ko in the middle of the night one day kay sige lang sya og bark. When I checked him up, I found a big frog standing on his bowl and he was barking on it.
So if you can invest a lot of quality time, then I'm sure huskies won't be a problem for you.
