time and again, as it was said over and over again, davao hasnt proven anything significant yet when it comes to tourism against cebu's track record. the only desperate measure some davaoeños here could do is say negative things about cebu... a desperate move.

foreigners and domestic tourists know cebu, and in fact more foreign tourists go to cebu than any other city in the country. as for domestic and local travellers, cebu places 3rd or fourth, davao is not even on the top five.

the stats speaks for itself and in a typical davaoeño fashion, i expect most davaoeños here to continue sourgraping against cebu...

altho mas safe didto sa davao, cebu has alot to offer in terms of resorts, restos, bars, hotels, malls, social activities, etc...

^^ mas safe? nowhere else in the philippines did i see heavily armed men in military fatigue unifroms guarding popular nightspots. only in davao, and it failed BIG time to impress me and the delegate that im with. it gave us the impression that something bad could happen anytime throughout our stay.youre like in a warzone. liquor ban starts at 2am, same goes with most nightspots, i have to say that 2 am is just soooo provincial.
