@ SMC      You know it.... another frustrated customer....hahah!!

@ Cool        No problem. Check out the CFFL blog link below for more info. Do you play in the CFFL?[/i]

@mayumi        Males: Both the LaserArt Sharks and Pyro Rebels are 3 wins and 0 losses, Team Superman is 2 wins and 0 losses.   Females: The LaserArt Sharkettes and Pyro Bombshells are both 1 win and 0 losses.

@jantin       You are correct, no more Chargers team, not sure why they disbanded or which teams picked up the majority of their players (that still decided to play in the CFFL). . I do know that none of them were picked up by the National Champion Sharkettes. I think there were some that joined the Dark Angels (according to some of the Sharkettes players who noticed a few "familiar faces" from last year's Chargers team in Dark Angels uniforms this past Saturday).

Scores from this past Saturday's (March 31st) games:

    Sharkettes:  8   Dark Angels:  0
    Sharks:  21   Flamingos:  7
    Bombshells:  18   Supergirl: 13
    Piranhas: 12 Superman: 31
    Rebels:  19   Cocks:  18

**Schedule for April 14th games will be posted soon. Another full day of action (5 games) is on tap once again at Camp Lapu Lapu. As always, for more on the CFFL, check out: www.cebuflagfootball@blogspot.com

**Come on out and enjoy another full day of games this Saturday (April 21st). Arrive early and stay the whole day because some key games are in the lineup:
First game of the day gives us Alpha trying to avenge last season's Super Bowl loss to their rivals and National Champion Sharkettes  .... both of these ladies' teams are right on track for another great season... can anyone say "Grudge Match"?
Right after that contest you will see a matchup of 2 undefeated male teams as the Rebels take on Superman.... whoever comes out on top in this game will equal the Sharks  4-0 record and also take a big step towards earning a bye week in the playoffs.
Next up, the Dark Angels will try to get in the win column after 2 close losses when they battle the Bombshells who had last week off after an exciting victory in their ladies' season opener... it surely will be an exciting game.
The 4th contest of the day will pit the Flamingos against the Piranhas.... last season's male Super Bowl Runner Up's Flamingos need to get going if they want to be in the running for a bye in the first week of this season's playoffs.... the Piranhas meanwhile are looking for their first win, and what a win it would be if they end up victorious in this one.
The last game of the day is a battle slating two "rookie" winless male teams, the Sherdogs vs Prawns.... the Sherdogs have done anything but play like a rookie team so far, with three very respectable performances against some of the leagues' toughest teams.... the Prawns sport alot of youth on their squad but as the season progresses and they gain experience, there will surely be an improvement.

***Check out the official site of the CFFL www.cebuflagfootball.blogspot.com for more info.

Every game has some level of importance, just look at the standings!!

Game 1: Flamingos look to work their way back up the standings after a much needed win last week, unfortunately for them, they lost a point in the standings because of showing up very late for referee duties. Superman looks to rebound after first loss of season and stay in contention for one of the playoff byes.

Game 2: Dark Angels look to even their record after two tough early defeats, while Supergirl looks to earn their first victory.

Game 3: Game of the year so far, don't miss it!!! Pyro Rebels vs LaserArt Sharks. Both teams are 4-0 and looking to take sole possesion of the league standings. The top two offenses vs the top two defenses. There will be lots of fireworks in this game for sure, but who will be the team setting them most of those fireworks off
I have a feeling on the answer to that question, but I'm not saying anything... okay, here's a hint: "National Champion Sharks" .... ooops, that just came out accidentally. Let's just say it's feeding time!! Good luck to both teams. GO SHARKS. Hey, nobody ever said this was an unbiased report.

Game 4: Alpha and Bombshells battle it out for second place in the standings, tough battle going on here right at the Camp.

Game 5: Sherdogs coming off their first win, a blowout of the winless Prawns. The Sherdogs will surely find that getting another victory this week will be much tougher. They are facing the Cocks, who want this victory badly so that they will be right back into the thick of the standings' upper echelon. I will be watching this one with eyes wide open, I have a feeling it might come down to the wire.

COME OUT AND CHECK IT OUT !!! Watching the CFFL is a great way to spend the day.
