simple. start tracking your calories. properly tracking your calories is the only way to find out if you're truly "minimizing" your meals.
the secret to weight loss is calories in versus calories out. nothing more. nothing less. it's that simple.
find out your TDEE. subtract 500 calories from it [ a week or two of adjusting is required ] and you are guaranteed to lose weight.
if you're trying to lose fat. start working out. join a gym or do home body workouts. the more muscle you have. the more fat you burn.

whey protein is a convenience supplement. not necessary but for convenience reasons it's easy to take to hit your protein macros. you can take it if you want. it's like eating chicken breast.
EDIT:
found my answer. hehe.
Hi fellahs,
Naa na pod koy question hehehe...
What's the next best alternative to shed the unwanted flabby arms
and the part as back na mora sya mag wings-looking gali coz of the
weight loss. Let's rule out weight training.
Pwede hoops shooting or badminton since they use a lot of arm action
man. Right now, I'm into dance and floor exercises in the morning before
breakfast then road run in the afternoon.
Hope naa mo'y alternative ideas. Thanks![]()

sorry i can't think of anything off hand except weight training. the key to fat loss is to grow muscles either through hypertrophy or strength training. or both. the bigger/dense your muscles are the more fat you lose.
you can do certain body weight exercises at home . but you'll come to a plateau sooner or later. using weights. of any kind no matter how "light" they are is acceptable as long as the certain body part you're training is being "challenged"
as long as it's being "challenged" the muscle will break/rip. and then your body takes over and transits into the healing process.
there are a lot of women who are in the lifting room at my gym. don't be scared. use proper weights that are acceptable for your "muscle" and you won't look like a body builder. you will get toned.
That's what my PT told me about weight training.
I'm trying out other activities not solely found in the gym.
But in the morning I workout using my 4lb dumbbell but
di man enough pod... Cge thanks so much Jae
Karon man Gud nag experiment ko na for a month, no gym

if you have a gym membership i would use it. hehe. but if not. search youtube for home body workouts. you can do a lot of full body home exercises + back + arms abs stuff that come to mind -
planks
side planks
spider man planks
saxon bends
atg squat
atg goblin squat
pushups
dead lift
what you can do is use those big jugs of water. use an empty one. add water gradually to increase the weight. you can either hug it or hold it out in front of you depending on the exercise.
imo. it's a waste of money to buy weights for home use unless you have extra lying around. you can also use rice bags. start with light weight. add rice accordingly. but again if you do have a gym membership. use it. hehe
I have a yr membership though.. Just for the month of May I didn't go for my "experiment"..
I got bored with my routine man Gud which I did for 8 months straight. Prolly I'll go back in June
na for my tenth month...
I am following what my PT had told me to do with the 4lb Lang... So far, my measurements have
decreased, I'm now down to size 9 pants from 10 last month, as for the weight loss, haven't checked
pa, last time was 168 lbs. my major probs are my flabby arms lang jud, kulang nalang kuha ko
sundang Nya laplapan hahaha
Thanks for the added info Jae... You've always been helpful jud from the start I've been asking some
tips.. I appreciated it a lot![]()
