Brod, thanks for the comment. I just wanted to make peace with you guys out there and laying down all arguements personally. It is good to hear one talking his belief and faith in real person so that we, listeners, can gauge him if he is truly saying it seriously and by his heart. Then, as istoryans, we maintain the professionalism here. Forum is just only saying of what you believe is right, not stepping of one's personal weaknesses.

Then, where will we meet, and when?
This might be up to someone who is one of the powers of Istorya and perhaps an active participant in this discussion, sir...

S.N.M.P. made posts on "eternal security".... in context of 1 Jn 5: 5 Those who profess Jn. 3: 16 are still prone to sin because in the Christian faith there is such a thing as "pull of the world", this term isn't foreign even to those Amish and Shakerian denominations.Â* In the phi.losphy of LOGIC all this here is like a syllogism "if you cannot overcome the world, you do not believe that Christ is the Son of God" .... as you can see, it's very phi.losphical but it isn't an oxy***** either.

Although in the RCC there are some literary writers who quote like the fifteenth verse of the third chapter of the first epistle of Paul to the Corinthians for pompous concepts of "purgation" which really can easily be rebuked by a lot of what you can find in Paul's epistle to the Hebrews.

There are however records of paranormal events and apparitions that preach the Gospel of purgation and "cleansing" before eternal salvation but users like Obese Bo Ricardo have his reservations on such events.

    Tolstoi,

I think aetheism is a rejection of the metaphysical and paranormal. If you are like R/Brey though you are more agnostic as he is someone who says "nothing can be confirmed or denied" although there are some who would assert that there is only the secular, and the metaphysical is just the product of literature.

By the way, in this post halos "copy paste" ni tananÂ* di jud kabaw muistorya lahotay og Eninglish. copy paste ni tanan akong posts so don't accuse me if naa sayop.

Keep in mind though that it isn't only in the RCC where we can find "supernatural miracles" there have been authentic reports according to Mr. Radel Paredes, teacher in USC TC of the Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association that insist that Ruben Ecleo is The Messiah.

If I were to make a hypothesis either the PBMA or the RCC could be the One True Church!
But as I've been saying ever since I read the posts in here my "bandwagon mentality" has been shaken and I realized there is a need to search for deeper truth.

Also my hypothesis would just be like the fallacy of the paschal wager.

    Toltsoi,

there was a preacher in my school who happened to punch through a wall because the instructor who was very rigid didn't allow him to take the test for not arriving on time... if I were to evaluate his behavioral patterns, I would say it is out of repressed anger.
Now if someone who thinks a lot will make a hypothetical conclusion, we could say both the teacher and the student swear a lot

just trying to "build the bridges" here... Phil.sophy is actually back and forth and I think S.N.M.P.'s post reminds us that there might be more substance to this thread if we take this discussion to a more "philsophical" level.

I think there have already been enough attempts on bondage breaking or posters who attempt to "filter" the catechism in this thread. For more on God's love, Ate Belle and Kyuusai are relentlessly trying to keep the Daily Scripture Reading thread alive in the Arts and Lit. forum. Although some will assert that the catechism needs "filtering"

OT: Ahh! A duo in Machiavellian posts. Let us hope the ones who won't have a headache in reading it are the ones who will find it agreeable.

    Keep The Goal In View

    From Our Daily Bread
    Read:
    1 Timothy 4:1-11

Reject profane and old wives' fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. —1 Timothy 4:7

Bible In One Year: 1 Chronicles 1-3

Bible scholar William Barclay tells of his walks through the meadow with his bull terrier Rusty. Whenever his dog came to a shallow creek, he jumped in and started removing stones, one by one, dropping them haphazardly on the shore. This pointless activity would go on for hours.

Barclay says that Rusty's strange behavior reminds him of some self-proclaimed experts on the Bible. They expend enormous energy and countless hours trying to interpret obscure passages, but all their effort does nothing to edify themselves or others.

Through the years I have received long letters from people like that. Some show me how to know exactly who the Antichrist will be. Others claim to have found the key to certain Bible mysteries by studying the meaning of names in the lists of genealogies.

Apparently there were some teachers in Ephesus who were trying to impress the believers by weaving myths and fables into their interpretation of the Bible. But what they taught did nothing to promote godliness. It was therefore as pointless as Rusty's stone removal project.

Paul said to Timothy, "Exercise yourself toward godliness." That's the most important goal to keep in view as we study the Bible. —Herb Vander Lugt

Oh, grant us grace, Almighty Lord!
To read and mark Thy holy Word,
Its truths with meekness to receive,
And by its holy precepts live. —Boddome

Don't study the Bible to be able to quote it; study it to obey it.
