I worked outside away from home, very far away.

I enjoy three-day weekends but too much of that is not good. Moderation is the key and I know lots of people who have grown very spoiled with holiday economics.

And long before holiday economics existed, the old way of celebrating holidays on their actual dates was the norm. It's time to go back to that nationwide.

Oh yeah, the Philippines itself has too many holidays from the national to the regional levels. Philippine tourism is growing consistently and no longer needs forced holidays to be sustained.

After August 30, there will be the local Osmena Day holiday.

August 23 is NOT a holiday, so just accept it. This goes the same to the spoiled brats of PGMA's "Holiday Economics".
