were not goin to war? so kung mag gubat ra diay ta mag military expansion? batia ana gud!? LOL
if mag salig rata sa atung old choppers and planes (puro junk or surplus sa US during the vietnam war)

so kung mag gubat, atong gmetun mao japun nga old choppers and planes? ROFLMAO kalain paminawn~

pero i think this plan of buying cobras padung ni wala, kay nahuman naman term ni arroyo, diba target nila before man mahawa si arroyo...

Pinoy fighter pilots are not yet ready for such kind of choppers. Basin mapareha lang sa sa mga S2-11s nga hapit na nahurot ug ka-crash due to pilot errors....sayang...training sa ha!

sure ka bro dili pa ta ready? hehe...where only talking about chopper dili mana F15 or Raptors nga kinahanglan og sophisticated aviation training...im pretty sure mas lisod pa drayban ang karaan HUEY

On the current state of our armed forces i would say it will take us 15 to 20yrs. to modernize our armed forces to the level that is on par with our SEA neighbors. Hmp. you can just imagine the immense training that our pilots will go in through(for example) in flying or to operate this modern equipments. It will be like putting our active pilots back into academy. A modern pilot would take him/her at least 10yrs. in training just to fly a modern average aircraft. A modern fighter jet pilot would need at least another 5yrs. to learn all the stuff of his assigned fighter jet the Radar and Weapons training and not discounting the fighter tactics such CAS(Close Air Support) / CAP(Combat Air Patrol) / Anti-Radar Warfare etc..and all those electronic warfare. and i'm only talking about the air force point of view and what about our navy? hahay....

we are not buying cobra attack helicopter folks but our air force already bought sokol helicopters for there modernization program. its somewhat the same chopper of the pic below.
