i will always believe the saying, "NOT EVERYONE IS CUT TO BE A NURSE"...
now to continue sa comparison, while sa uban na non-nursing courses indeed maka abroad ka but kung maswertihan pod lagi ka. like Med techs, PT-OT, Pharmacist, IT etc...pila ra man pod ang probability na ang hospitals or private IT companies mo need ug more than 1 kada department?
sa nursing? a hospital cant survive dri sa gawas kung wa sila great help sa ani na department plus pila na ka units naa sila kada hospitals. from long, sub-acute, acute term facilities down to its individual depts. like peds-adult units (NICU, CCU, Cardiac Stepdown, PCU, ONT, Rehab, Maternal, Birthing places, ED, Surgery, medicine, respiratory, cancer, dialysis, anesthesia, special units in every hospital) NEEDS NURSES. no one can deny this fact at all!
pero mao lagi na, naa reasons why mo ubos ang demand due to economic reasons which is actually a cycle wherever we are in this world. BUT WAT IS IMPORTANT IS, EVERY NURSE GRADUATE will have GREAT OPPORTUNITY AHEAD OF THEM IF THEY WONT LOOSE THEIR FOCUS!
it all boils down to which choice one will take in his life to achieve goals. i hope this will help for u to understand why a lot of parents let their children take up nursing or persons chose nursing maybe because of this great hope.
