makapalit na ba ug mutual funds thru COL?
Naay instance boss na same ang "entity" na buyer and seller kay they both use the same broker.
Usually if retail brokers like COL, BPI trade, First metro, Accord, unicap, and other retail brokers daghan kaau users boss so that's why normal lang na. Murag kung ako gagamit ko COL as trading platform tapos nag post ko buy and ikaw COL user pod ka tapos nagpost ka sell on the same price na akua gipost ug buy, magreflect sa list of trades na same broker ang buyer and seller once macomplete and transaction.
Naa pod traditional type of brokers like UPCC, PNB, Angping, and others na dagko like institutional brokers like JPMorgan, Credit suisse, Mandarin, Campos, etc. that use also the same brokers.
usually if ang nagtransact kay same brokers it is called "cross trade".
If institutional or traditional broker ang nag cross trade, sometimes it means its just a normal cross trade, cross trade to make artificial volume to lure others to buy, or insiders of stocks switching hands to prepare for a buy up or selldown of a stock.
The more ma expose ka sa market boss like really experience or participate day trading sa PSE, ma notice mo na and say usually what's happening.
salamat sa explanation sir. i just thought lang nga bacn price manipulation ba kaha or tactics lang sa isa ka big entity (like sa akong mga namention nga COL, dbp, etc) aron naay movement kunuhay ang isa kastock. but then again, kung ingana pod, magbayad bayad lang tahay sila sa transaction fees sa ilang gibuhat. like 35,000 of GLO priced at 2,080 haha grabiha.
hmm another query sir, unsa pod ng number right beside sa Size? like Price is 2,090 Size is 45, so meaning naay nagbaligya (Ask) og 45 pcs priced at 2,090.. naay number pa jud sa kilid after sa size.
Dira man makakwarta ang broker. Sa transaction fees. Gadato ang broker ana. Haha. Ako if mag trade ko, wala na ko labot usually sa transaction fees. Whats important for me is i buy or sell at the price i want. Whether its a failed or successful trade as long as sulod sa akua plano.
On your question, 2 na ka items gadisplay sa size column. Ang isa kay ang number of shares posted for buy/sell and the other one kay the number of people na nag post for that total shares. So ang 45 na imo ingon is the total number of shares posted for sell na then ang sa gilid ana is the number of people who posted it to come up with the 45 shares.
^ hehe mao diay pasabot ana.
sir, i've read sa internet, even investopedia, that after the ex-date, price of the said stock should drop or atleast open at lower price equivalent sa dividend. but last month ang TEL wala man nidrop the day after the ex-date hehe infact nisaka man nuan after. even last yr, dli mao ang price drop based sa dividend and ex-date.
On the dividends boss not necessarily munaog. Usually lang what happens is katong mga nipalit na ang goal is just to get dividends short term or those na are just in for the dividend play is gina sell nila the day of the ex date or after ang ila shares since they are already entitled of the dividend. Whats happens man gud is once mag announce ang company that they will give dividends especially if naa na daun ex date announced is gasaka ang price nila due to the demand especially if attractive ang dividend yield given. Like example dividend to be given is around 6% of the current stock price or so. So thats why usually on the ex date or the day after gapanaog ang price. Pero mao na, not all the time man.
