This is just a summary of some of the Goby species that the Aquatic Cebu Enthusistasts has encountered during the river treks that was conducted in the past years since the Organization was formed. Some of these gobies are pretty common and are sometimes seen being sold by sidewalk vendors in a place called Manalili, in the downtown area of Cebu. Below is the list of the names with the corresponding place where it was found first during our river treks. Some of these gobies are also found in other places that we visited other than where it was first found.

hehehe da sharo ma claim panag lain with that watermark. The picture reinforces what I mentioned in FB that there's a visible difference in the Lentipes mindanaoensis from both the Sicyopus zosterophorum and Sicyupos cebuensis. Almost all of the gobies under Lentipes has an orange coloration under it's mouth which is lacking in the S. zosterophorum and S. cebuensis. However, Sicyopus jonklaasi or commonly known as Lipstick goby is often confused with Lentipes mindanaoensis, but people with good eyes, can always tell them apart.
