Gisulti ra na ni Mabanta just for the sake of "doing his job and not to anger Malacanang.." Look at what happened to the Army spokesman Col Parlade, he was sacked for speaking his own mind about the issue..

Malacaņang was reportedly incensed at the outspoken Parlade for "talking about policy issues and airing opinion," according to sources of ABS-CBN News' Lynda Jumilla.

Parlade told ANC on Thursday that the ceasefire prevents government troops from going after those responsible for the deadly ambush, one of the worst encounters with the MILF post-1986.

I have to reiterate my stand. Peace talks with the MILF have achieved NOTHING for more than 30 years already.

The only option left is an all out war. I may not have the statistics but i can feel the sentiment of my fellow mindanaoans. If you do a survey right now here in mindanao, people want an all out war. I feel safer kung walay MILF sa akong area. Naa mi mga customer who are milf members, pero hanggang business transaction lang kami. Usahay mu turiring na ila utok munaog sa bukid, pang sunogon ang mga balay sa bisaya (kristyano).

I'm very much privy into this issue, because what happened to the business of our family friend started the All Out War in the year 2000.
