ang solution sa Mindanao conflict/rebellion/terrorism cannot be solved by swords and guns alone. it has to be won in the heart and mind too.

Solving the conflict is not a one-shot deal but a continuing campaign even for our future presidents...

It cannot be totally eliminated but only minimized. just like the fight against illegal drugs and piracy.

Your President has already been proven time and time again for being a liar. Its quite appalling for people to constantly buy every word that comes out from her stinking mouth while her actions is just the opposite. There's a local term for that "ILARONON".

I also suggest that we should not buy every word from any of our politicians. They have political interests to preserve. Those who say that the president wanted to extend her term are the candidates for 2010, I suppose. They just want to have controversy so they can enter the picture. They have spent millions for their infomercials and campaigns. I don't think they are willing to spend too much if they know that the 2010 elections will not push through.

As I said, declaring martial law has a very rigid procedure. Saying that it will be a means to extend one's power is really far fetched. But if you want to believe it, how can I stop you? As for me, I have the Constitution to prove my claim.
