I can understand and feel for all your sentiments about USC.
I have a question;
> What is the objective of going to school? Pa pogi? Pa sikat? ( you can do that after school time)
> Most of you, your parents are paying for your fees. Is the sling costs' that much?
> After entering the school grounds? We do take off the green ish right?
I am not siding the school, but i think they are only standardizing some ish..
sorry if i sounded like an antagonist.
Mao na'y gi ingon nga wala gihapon mi'y mabuhat mga studyante ana. Bow.
^^Maygani humana mi ana. Haha.
Ani man sad na siya gud ug musuporta mo ug any kind of rally batok sa USC.
Most of the student body of USC won't even support rallies against the administration. Why? Because they know better. Look. If all of the students were to protest against the administration, then, it'd probably reach the higher court.
Two possibilities will then occur: Either the students lose and the reputation of those who organized the rally will be on the line, or the administration loses and the school, adhering to the demands of the court, will lose most of its assets in damages. Either the quality of education will be screwy, or the school in itself will close down.
If that'd happen, where will you go to school? It's a pretty good advantage that we all graduated from USC. In the country, it's still one of the best, right up there with UP, AdMU, DLSU, UST, etc. And those schools are in Luzon, so I don't think you'd go through all the trouble of enrolling in those schools just because something happened.
Wish I could say something about the ROTC thing, but hapit naman gyud ko mu graduate so cheers.
An example of the aftermath of a protest:

hala. sahi ra man ni nga case tawn uy. this is collective bargaining man. employer - employee na kaso. kilo kilometro sa kalayo sa kaso kung ang studyante ang magrally about a certain cause or against a certain policy. and kung ingon ana ka katag ang rally, lupad lupad ug ideas, whimsical, downright katag, dapat lang jud na ang council knows better.
observation. dili lang kataw-anan ang theme sa ilang rally. katag. bisan mga tao niapil didto moingon okay ra man ang policy, ang implementation ang sayop. so? unsa man jud inyo girallyhan. ang isa moingon, sling ra man di ko mosugot, okay ra sa ako ang uniform ug haircut. so unsa man jud? ang isa moingon, ngano man diay taas buhok, bogo? kinsay gaingon bogo ang taas buhok? kinsay nag-accused nilag bogo ang taas buhok? unsa man jud? unsa may inyo gusto? bisan kamo galibog mo unsa jud inyo gusto tas mag expect mo na motoo sa inyo ang admin? LOL.
and please. kanang cause worth fighting for. cause nga beyond personal comfort and style.
as for d sling, i think its part of d uniform. wa lang cguro ma implement ug tarong. so wala choice but to wear it. as for d haircut, wa sad tay mabuhat but at least we can define how long is long. subjective man gud na mao ang uban nakasud few days back and pag change ug guard kay d na sad. im against this policy by the way but we cant do anything about it.
