Enjoy reading the thread!! I'm frugal too by choice coz I want to go home na for good and enjoy the fruits of my labor. Here's my tipid tips..

Location: America

1) I ride public transportation kay duol ra au akong work ug sa house and malakaw ra gali if dili ko mag dali2x.
2)I have a very cheap cp worth 7 dollars and nag prepaid ra ko. 25 dollars per 3 months
3) i shop at Goodwill for clothes ( used clothes ni xa, murag ukay2x)


Here's my breakdown sa salary nako every month:

70 percent-- mutual funds/stock market
10 percent-- padala sa pinas
10 percent -- savings
10 percent-- MAD money

akong mama sa una sa college pko..super! P10 budget pang lunch..P5 na rice uf P5 na sud-an..this was around year 2003-2004..ah short lagi permi ang weekly allowance..dli madala and 10 pesos sa isa ka meal oi..cr@zy.. >.<

kung ang allowance ky 90 pesos per day daun 100 pesos iya gihatag, at the end of the day, iya jud na paninglon ang 10 pesos..almost all my life, deprived ko sa mga material things..wala sila nagkulang when it comes to love..pero lahi ra bya if you're young(high school) daun imu mga classmates can have anything they like, unya ikaw ky mag tan-aw ra..hahai..pait!

Instead "save" mo money noh , invest pa lang mo ug business . Pinoy mentality sige lang save kuno , pero foreign kaayo ning concept nga investment sa mga Pinoy .
