Developments dispel peace and order concerns

Claims about Davao that community leaders keep on repeating when visitors come here are inaccurate. One is that Davao — with its 2,440 square kilometers of territory or about the size of a regular province in this country — is the world’s biggest city in terms of land area.

All one has to do is to Google for the list of the world’s biggest cities. The list would place Davao between Seattle in the United States at 17th place and Johannesburg in South Africa at 18th. The largest is New York City with an area close to 9,000 square kilometers.

Another is that Davao’s drinking water, extracted from underground water resources in Dumoy district, is the second cleanest or sweetest, in the world. I inquired about it years back and was told that information came from a report of a foreign consultant.

Comparing a water filter at home here that I replace every month with a similar gadget installed in our house in Metro Manila, I would conclude that Davao’s water quality, at least on solid particulates present, is nothing exceptional.

those people na wala nakaadto davao will surely chose cebu bcoz very known man cya interms of tourism!! but if makaadto mo davao lalo na in terms of safety,, im sure mo bilib jud mo sa davao!!! pero dili tanan kay naa man uban tag as jud ug pride!!! hehehe
wether u like it or not DAVAO now ang nindot suroyan dili IPIL, este CEBU hehehehe
