mga sir...ask lang ko ba...dli jud na magbreed ang pair kung naay usa na ga molt?
hmmmm very good question...i'll try to answer it shaijean and this is not from the books but on my own experience. For me as a breeder it is not wise to breed birds while they are on moulting in fact if they on this stage you must give them the best conditioning supplements and diet that we could provide being captive birds...unlike those in the wild they could forage for supplements that will suite their requirements.
They might be able to breed even if one partner is moulting BUT there might be consequences to it, offsprings not in very good condition, a partner might die, and many many more....

another good question....di ko makatubag nimo basta sa akoa experience once i see that their plummage is very good and both partners show interest in breeding then the nest box is then placed, or the partners are then placed in the breeding cage.
by the way in bird shows if your bird is moulting it will not be allowed to participate, we have very strict rules on this because if a bird is allowed to participate while moulting pa siya it will just subject our poor alaga into more stress which could be detrimental sa iya health.
good luck sa inyo breeding guys.....
