Nuggets' J.R. Smith says he likely won't be back next season

Nuggets guard J.R. Smith, who played just six minutes in Wednesday night's Game 2, said there's a "strong possibility" he won't sign with the Nuggets this summer as a free agent, expressing frustration Thursday after the Nuggets went down 0-2 against Oklahoma City in the playoffs.

"There's a strong possibility as of right now," Smith said. "It's not going the way I planned it to go. It's a tough situation. I want to be here, I love the fans and everything about the city. It's just maybe not my fit."

"Just frustration, just really didn't have any life in there," Smith said. "No one was really into it"

That was a bad non-call. Pwerte nako yawyaw while watching coz I was rooting for Denver! Hehe

Just a crazy thought that came to mind after that blunder. Dapat cguro hatagan ug at least 1 "challenge flag" ang coaches which they can throw during the last 2 minutes of a close game. The refs will then review their call via replay & if the coach loses the challenge, they'll be charged with 1 timeout. Pina NFL style! Lol

David Stern hints at challenge-based replay system in future

"Eventually, you may have someone sitting at a desk rather than having a Talmudic discussion of three referees every time there's a disputed play," Stern said. "We might have one person whose job it is to keep the headphones on and always watch. And you might let a coach throw the flag in the last two minutes. We're striving for accuracy. … We have to find a way to speed the game up, and to get it right. That's the most important thing."
