No.
The Raptors bought out Peja's 15M contract. So Peja will sign a new contract with the Mavs probably a more lesser than his last contract once he cleared wavers. Giving away Ajinca + 2013 2nd round pick + cash is just a "thank you" deal from Cuban. However, this deal is currently under investigation by the NBA because this deal outraged most NBA teams because it looks like the whole thing was "illegal".
Peja's here; only question is when he'll be signed | Dallas Mavericks Blog | Sports News | News for Dallas, Texas | The Dallas Morning News
Peja Stojakovic landed in Dallas on Sunday afternoon and the Mavericks are expected to sign him today after he clears waivers, multiple sources said.
Before that can happen, the NBA must sign off on the trade of Alexis Ajinca to Toronto . Despite some teams asking for the league to check out possible improprieties between the Mavericks and Raptors on the trade, the deal is expected to be approved today. If it isn't, the Mavericks may just waive a player - probably Sasha Pavlovic or Ajinca - to make room for Stojakovic.
Either way, Stojakovic will be signed.
The Mavericks are hopeful Stojakovic can take part in today's scheduled practice, but if the trade of Ajinca isn't approved first, he won't be able to participate. At the least, he will be able to observe and get familiar with the offensive and defensive systems.

Roddy Beaubois' agent believes client will be back in 'a week or maybe two' | Dallas Mavericks Blog | Sports News | News for Dallas, Texas | The Dallas Morning News
Rick Carlisle sounded positively French when he was asked if Roddy Beaubois was seeing a light at the end of his long tunnel of inactivity.
"For sure, for sure,'' he said, mimicking the Guadalupe native's good-but-not-great English. "Absolutely.''
The Mavericks are getting a little quicker pulse thinking about Beaubois these days. The return isn't on the lip of the cup. But it's not far away, either.
Beaubois' agent, Bouna Ndiaye, said that "it could be a week or maybe two, but he's feeling much better.''
Carlisle said Beaubois is making strides each week. One of the next ones will be to actually get into a full-contact practice.
So far, Beaubois has been running and cutting and stopping and starting while shooting 3-pointers and such. But until he goes through a practice without any consequences on his surgically repaired left foot, there will be no timetable. He's yet to play this season.
