I tried not eating rice at all, oatmeal akong gi substitute. Malipong jud ko. Any advise? Katong nag sugod kog diet, half cup rice ra akong kan-on ok raman to, wala jud ko lain na feel. Pero mura man nihinay akong weight loss (i think). I tried nga wala jud rice totally, pero murag dili kaya, malipong jud ko.

malipong gyud ka. oatmeal doesnt have the same energy value by "weight" to cooked rice you have to eat 2x the amount of oatmeal to get the same caloric value as 1 cup of cooked rice. anyway another thing try not to buy the quick cooking oatmeal or instant oatmeal they are so refined ur body absorbs it so fast making you feel hungry faster. good if you tend to be active where you need fast fuel for ur activities. buy the rolled oats. regardless on what kind of carbohydrates we tend to eat. bread rice pasta oats etc. it's the amount of carbs you eat is whats more important. if you feel faint or week on your diet it only means that it's working too well and may be a bit risky for you. why not increase the amount a lil bit or have the same amount of food intake in a day but divided into 5 meals in that way you still have the enrgy to go thru the day without feeling faint.

As for the rice issue, started the 1 cup per day diet and wheat bread/oatmeal
for breakfast or lunch and strictly fruits or veggies for dinner, at first it was
hard to obtain but towards second month, it was already a breeze since I was
bent on attaining my goal plus my health was at risk at that time so I had no
choice but to follow my diet.

I'm on my 6th month now, I no longer consider it as a "diet" but a lifestyle that
I've come to adapt. I no longer have the dizzy spell like before even if I work
out half of the day, I even feel great through out the day. What's great about it
I lose 5 lbs tops each month

I'm also into weights and dance for my weight loss program, Doge with the assistance of my PT.
He kept repeating the two key elements to losing weight, never eliminate the Cardio part in your
daily activities and eat less. We can actually eat just about anything but in SMALL amounts but it's
up to us to opt out what's bad for us.

Anyway, the most important thing is to stay healthy to enjoy our lives even more with our loved ones

    We can do this!

do not abruptly change your diet kay ang lawas mabuang. sudden drop of blood sugar by cutting so much carb is not advisable. mag blanko sad imong utok ana. anam anama ug ginagmay hangtod maanad ang lawas. also, u cant just eat oatmeal alone. eat a lot of protein like eggs (hard boiled or poached), steamed or sinugba fish, grilled chicken without the skin. eat same type of food in smaller portions and later, ma anad raka nga gagmay ug kaon.

As for myself, I indulged last night kay murag na depress ko gamay by limiting too much carbs. maka depress ning wala kau tay sugar. i ate a cone of ice cream and rice and fish for dinner. murag thats my 2nd cup of rice in a month now. i continued with my commitment, exercised at least 30 mins per day.

Today, I started with oatmeal, mascuvado sugar akong butang mga half teaspoon para lang naay gamay sweetness. and take note, a tablespoon of kamay (muscuvado) is only 15 calories so healthy jud siya compared sa white sugar. Juiced fresh cucumber.

For lunch, suya jud kaau ko sa bihon, pero gamay lang kaau, wala pay usa ka platito, then ga steam ko ug bangus.
lots of fruits na lang later. limit na sa gabii. unlimited sugarless green tea ko permi.

We all can do this. Challenge ourselves kay never jud siguro matabo nga nga healthy ang sobras tambok. Sa pagka karon, my body mass index is still overweight but at least dili na obese.

One month from the time I decided to lose weight, from 70kg, Im now down to 63kg. Its a challenge kay im sleep deprived because of work but Im not giving up. Nothing is impossible if you have the will
