@azinec: Are the meerket and lion photos straight out of the camera? No processing except for the watermarks?
meerkat - just cropped, converted to JPEG and watermarked. so i guess SOOC pa.hehe
lion - i applied auto-contrast in Capture NX2 to remove the haze produced by the viewing glass. you can see in the forehead area, there's still a bit of haze remaining. cropped the pic to get a close up frame of the face.

nindota og kuhaa ana sir azinec uist.idol kaaau dah.very sharp.tamron na imung gamit na lens?i heard daw bati review ang tamron.mau sd akong dungog2 ha.try lng nya nko.
thanks bro.
i guess u heard wrong.hehe. bitaw, in this thread, we are about 4 very satisfied users of this glass. take note tho that there is another 70-300 variant sa tamron, wala to cya VC. at longer focal lengths and without VR/VC, the glass is very prone to shake, unless taas ka shutter speed or naka tripod ka.
also, from what ive observed, the first batches of tamron lenses had issues. probably because dli pa nindot ila quality control ato. but so far, the recent batches had no issues similar to those that were previously reported.
im not saying that this is better than the Nikon 70-300VR, but it's a worthy and capable alternative to the OEM glass. it just a matter of preference. u have to factor also how their respective VR/VC works.
I am a very satisfied user of this glass. Dili ka mag mahay ani Bro. Try to check this review;
