My grandfather moved to Davao and they're originally from Negros Oriental.

Many people all over Visayas moved to Mindanao a long time ago, we both know that, that's the reason "Cebuano" is the dominant language there. Why do people in Mindanao say "Bisaya" even though they are Ilonggo or Waray because they are actually referring to the island where these people came from.

I can't believe a moderator just told me my father is not "Visayan." Wow! Sure Davaoeño, but their origin is Bisaya. Thanks.
