I would recommend to work for 10-15 years until you have acquired the necessary skills and mentality to become a ceo then pursue business you are prepared financially, emotionally. oftentimes, getting the right person to work for your company is the success sa business not necessarily ikw buhat jd tanan although hago jd sha for sure.
you have to secure first these things after your work:
1. money in the bank #1 - personal savings
2. money in the bank #2 - emergency fund (hospitalization, miscellaneous expenses - house & vehicle fixing)
3. money in the bank #3 - deposit for business security (replenisher for business funds)
4. fluid capital - readily available money for chosen business
lami gyud ang dunganun if makaya..
you dont need a bigger capital to start a business
what you need is
hardwork
dreams
discipline
big ideas
and positive mind
Depende ra na ug unsa gyuy ganahan/pangandoy sa tawo.
My Uncle who are is now past his retirement age is still working, he still practices his profession as a doctor (even a volunteer doctor). Even though he has already secured himself and his family financially, he still wants to work as long as his body allows him to do. For him, the rewards of serving the public is far greater that what a salary gives him.
The main reason why we engage in business, is really to enrich ourselves and accumulate wealth. working on the other hand, depends on the underlying purpose why we do it ...
- there are those who work to enrich themselves, those whose aim is only to accumulate wealth, the same as engaging in business.
- there are those who work to contribute and to enrich and improve the lives of others - this is the noblest thing to do, then go and practice your profession- be a teacher, preacher, nurse, caregiver, or civil servant ... mabuhay ka!
Business = unlimited risks and responsibilities
Employee = limited risks and responsibilities
so its up to you.
Its true that strategies, management, etc can be learned for you to be a good businessman... but character is hard and takes a long time to develop for many people.
For example you already have lots of money to invest, but you are not too opportunistic enough or you are too passive in managing your business, or you are afraid of risks like losing your money thinking that a new investment wont gain profit or even click, you're reactive rather than being proactive.. etc.
some people are born to be an entrepreneur, though it can be learned overtime, but some aint just fit for it.
Pwede man sad ka mu asenso by striving hard and climb up the corporate ladder, mu dako imo sweldo while your responsibilities managhan sad, but imo risks kutob ra ngara. Mas lisud jud ang mag siguro nga dili ra ma TY imo investment.![]()
