I think it is so underrated as a supplement.

To have an optimal result, you need at least 1000 mg of omega 3.

I take 3 softgels - 1200 mg each softgel 3x a day for a total of 3600mg per day.

This is based on a 2000 plus calorie a day diet for the active person like me.

If I am not mistaken, a regular dose is 1000mg of fish oil 2x a day for a total of 2000mgs.

Just my 2 cents worth of info.

1200 mg of softgel it doesnt mean its 100% omega 3 (EPA/DHA).
Kindly check how many mg of omega 3 from the 1200 mg of softgel you been taken.
