Uso naman kaayo nang mga pa-slim tips di ba? I learned 2 years ago that the best way to lose fat & maintain your desired weight is to do STRENGTH TRAINING (as in planks, squats, lunges, burpees, modified pull ups...).
Nakasuway kog boot camp training sa FitFil & after almost 2 mos, 1 kilo lang ako na lose (ngeks) but na flat baya akong tummy. Take note, na-a-an kog mabdos by someone I know hahahaha. But na flat ra jud sa strength training (kafoy oi but worth it!).
Then later, naka lose na kog weight & nigamay ako body fat % (from 29% nahimong 12%) after I fixed my daily food intake. Calorie counting ang key ana. You can eat ANYTHING, just make sure nasulod sa imo target daily calorie goal. You can check or estimate calorie count sa imo fave foods by googling them or looking at the nutritional info label sa food package.
Altho you can eat anything, mas maayo jud ang imo kan on kay protein rich, fiber rich aron di ka dali gutmon. Maka kaon lagi kag ice cream, pero 1 cup ra pod, nya gutmon nasad ka dayon. Maayo pag eat nalang kag fruits or green/veggie salad kay mas busog imo feeling nya less calories pa jud.
Did you know that your body burns protein more than carbs? Mao nga better if eat kag protein rich food kay mas ma burn sa body, meaning di kaayo ka mo put on ug weight, compared sa paki carbs ka. Mas dali man ang carbs/sugar ma convert to fat. Protein food kay meats (mas maau chicken or fish kaysa pork/beef), tofu, green leafy veggies, beans (monggo, lentils etc), nuts (peanuts, almonds etc), quinoa, egg whites... etc.
Kabantay sad ko nga if maundang kog training/"workout" ug pila ka semana kay di ko dayon mo gain weight, because I think mas naa na koy muscle mass, which burns more than fat mass sa body. Ga kaon kog mga lasagna ana ha. Mao nga importante jud diay ang strength training kay long-term jud siya nga solution for weight management. Plus you feel strong pa jud, di ka dali kapoyon. Nya di pa jud ka dali ma injury (like maslide/hagba sa dalan or salog, matakilpo, ma tumba sa stairs etc) kay you can support your body well kay strong man kag core etc. Di pod ka dali masakit. So di pod ka gasto sa imo healthcare.

You can lose weight without exercising. But you can't lose weight if you exercise AND eat too much. As such, nutrition is key to weight management. Exercise should help maintain things for you.
