    normal ra na cya bro, the msi temp is the temp of the processor..while core temp measures the temperature of each core inside the chip/processor. lower gyud nang measurements sa core temp

    @:BlackRider: AMP706 & Stock HSF with Nano Diamond as the Thermal compound.

    @Der FüHRER: Mao ba?

    Anyways is the MSI Utility and to an extent the BIOS adding up the two cores temps, perhaps?

    Also the Nforce Chipset on my mobo runs hot, I guess that's expected for all new mobos I guess, but is there a way to at least keep it cool?

    All I could think of is screwing in a 60mm Delta Branded AMD fan from my old Socket A Sempron.

    ALSO what benchmark should i use to heat the core up? the original Prime 95 I'm using could barely heat this baby up!!!!

    Hey does anybody find it weird that my RAM voltage is 1.9V

    Is'nt the stock voltage of DDR2 533 1.8V? I've updated the latest bios in hopes of finding a way of manipulating the voltages, pero wala gyud.

    Bumped this thread as an FYI to Brisbane users. :mrgreen:

    Apparently, according to this thread here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...103639&page=15

    Also read here: http://forums.amd.com/forum/messagev...&enterthread=y

    AMD has reported the DTS on Brisbanes as being "broken"

    NOTE: Intel and AMD recently published detailed, public information about the "DTS" (Digital Thermal Sensor), which provides much higher accuracy and more relevant temperature reading than the standard thermal diode sensors do.

    This would mean that even using Core Temp you are not getting the accurate measurements on the temps of your processor's cores., specifcally on the Athlon x2 (Brisbanes only)

    MSI's Core Software sucks. My Windsor-based X2 also misreports the temps as being 57 °C while BIOS (and Everest) reports 45-46.

    It even alerts me at times that the CPU fan is at 0 or 200 RPM.

    Just curios what's your mobo? Same as mine? This problem with proper temps is really starting to bother me.

    Wala gyud. No matter what i do 1.9v ra gyud ang lowest voltage kono. Dili na gyud mo go lower ang DDR2 voltage.

    Temps though seem to be a bigger concern for me now. Anyways pila gani temps sa imo Der FüHRER if through the bios ka mo-tan-aw sa temps?
