    Share ko ug parable...

Naa koy tiyo nga oiler / fitter sa una.

Sakto2x ra pod ilang life, kaso lang wala nag serious ilang mga anak.

Namatay akong tiyo... Back to zero gehapon ang life sa ilang pamilya. Ang mga anak nakahuman ug naminyo nuon, pero back to zero ra gehapon.

Sayanga sa kinabuhi... nag antos ka sa gawas, wala pa getarong ug sukli ang imong kahago^... in the end mamatay gehapon ka ug pobre.

hahah sorry bro , dili ni mlm, i was thinking on how is life for everyone .

i mean its more than this to earn and just burn and repeat cycle, and be reminded to live life fullest.

and what are the ways people are doing to achieve this

g unsa inyo pag cope up? like maka laag pa ba mu? or if naa anak maka hatag pa mo sakto sustensay sa inyo anak?

if not , what methods are you finding to improve your lifestyle?

Reason im asking , im seeing alot of people nowadays na tambak kaau sa work pero at the end of the day kulang2

luoy kaau. we must live life happy and encourage others to improve our lifestyle.
I think the reason why you see alot of people at the end nga kulang2 is because, Filipinos are under-paid.
The job of a waiter for example will pay double or triple in the US.

So we are working as hard as everyone else in this world, but earning much less. Foreign investors take advantage of this fact and they think it is Okay. (This is a BIG problem and its like we are being oppressed.)

Samotan pa sa corruption sa government...

    Very disappointed..

Another thing I noticed, we are getting poorer and poorer per next generation.

The past generation can easily purchase a lot and build a simple house. Nowadays, we are being raped, hijacked and pirated by businessmen, buying hectares of land for a measly price and selling it to the public 5-10 times it's previous cost.

How many percentage of Filipinos working here locally can afford a house and lot worth 1.7M php or even higher? How many can afford paying an equity of 9k-10k per month for 2-3 years?

    It is injustice.

There was a man who became a single father at such an early age left with four children.
In order to have all his children with him in his care, he gave all his savings away to the
ex-wife. He brushed aside all the taunts and teasing from people of how weak he was to
give in such demands of the ex. Instead, he looked for other means to fend for his kids
and put them up through good schools. For years, he lied to his children about their
mother so not to put her in a bad light. He told them they had to sell everything because
their business isn't doing well. There was a time that he almost gave up and thought of
leaving the children behind because he was young and he can just start his life anew but
he realized that it would be unfair for the children and it would be so selfish of him to
    give up now.

And now, all his children are all professionals in different fields. Some have families of their
own -- living the dream that he once had for his children. Looking back, he can't even
imagine how he went through the whole ordeal. He may have lost millions in the past but
what really mattered was he gained a lot of wealth in memories with his kids and he was
able to tell his story to them with conviction and with authority about the value of hard work
and deeper faith that God always provides in the midst of adversities.

The father in the story is now enjoying his retirement with his children providing all his needs.
I am not into this "enjoying retirement age"... You have money but a big possibility is that, at this age you are already sick and dying... While during your younger years you never enjoyed and savored the good things in life....

Akoa lang, mas maayo e balance lang. Don't sacrifice too much for your future... enjoy the present while it is still here.

Swim or Sink..............that's the rule of life.
I appreciate those people who shared their brilliant experiences in this thread.

As for me, I have 3-month salary in my bank account. Just a preparation for rainy season.
Nakapa graduate ko sa akong niece in engineering last march (tinabangay mi sa ako parents ug gasto kay akong 2-niece wala na mother ug ila father ni-settle sab ug lain family.....)

Dako kaayo ug play ang pagsabot sa akong asawa when it comes to financial budgeting. We don't socialize much, unless kun may occasion like birthday of close friends and relatives.

Internet is our friend, it keeps us at home. The last time I drink beer was 2 years ago. I only drink with a very few circle of people, which is barely unreachable nowadays due to work and locations.

Don't put too much investment and trust on your family (siblings, parents, niece / nephew) of course, except your wife / husband and children.

The main reason we "invest" in them because we think of them as a piggy bank that in the future, we hope (or expect) that they will pay us back... most cases, they just provide at first and forget later.

Remember, ma usab na ang life sa imong gepa iskuyla if mag minyo na then magka anak na.
