By the way, unsay planned application nimo & games?
lately, battlefiled raman ako gina duwa an
gamiton pud nako siya pang VM.. testing before nako i move sa server
lapas na sa budget kung mag 970 pako

Ah I see. If gamiton nimo'g VM server sya, then OK kaayo ang i7 pud. For BF series, a GTX 960 is good to go for 1080p... Even the GTX 950 is good too. Pero sa duha, Better get the GTX 960.

Dili kaayo nimo ma reap ang benefits sa i7 on gaming compared to an i5. Anyhow, it depends on your HW preference gyud hinoon kay Ikaw man ang mo gasto ug ikaw man pud ang nakahibaw sa imohang need gyud pud. Igo ra mi mag hatag ug comment. Sharing of ideas man ta diri.

Ako, I'm using an i5-2550k (sandy bridge) and OC'ed it to 4.8 GHz in my gaming rig and I still can't justify to do an upgrade now. Most of the games that I played as CPU bound though but a multi-corw CPU is a must during multi-player to unleash the power of my multi-GPU configuration.

By the way, kun dili ta mag padla sa sakit na upgraditis na mag sunod2x sa new technology, dependent ang atoang pag upgrade sa mga technology companies kun unsa ang technology and its performance ang ilahang i-offer. Swerte lang ta karon na kun magpagawas sila'g new CPU or GPU, dili drastic and performance improvement.

Basin mabalik ning in ani. Bilog ang mundo ra ba and for sure, mao pud ni ang gi wish sa mga technology companies kay humongous ang ilahang sales... Hehehehe.

So let's enjoy what the current technology offers and not worry about the coming tomorrow... Charing... Hehehehe...

Haya2 sa 2550k. I had never laid my hands on any K processors gyud T_T
Naka-suway nah unta ko ug G3258(poor man's OCable chip) pero naa man diay micro-code ang Windows 10 nga dili mupadayun ug boot basta naka-OC ang G3258 sayang gyud kaayu. Giparisan pah gyud unta to nako ug twin tower HSF para makapatuyang kog OC tamans ginhawa. Sayanga gyud.

So far ani nga hobby, OC pah gyud ang wa pa nako fully na experience! haha

OC'ing is not everyone's cup of tea.

Magamit ra man gyud and CPU even on 10 yrs pero, kun ang HW ka'g obsolete na gyud ang performance nya in the coming "present" then we have no choice but to upgrade.

It's almost 10 yrs already. Surfing the net, movies, listening to music and Skype ang gamit nya...

Ang akoang mga give-away rigs na on Celeron 420 and 450 are almost 10 yrs too. Nag function pa sila karon ug gipang gamit pa's akoang gipang hatagan...
