That's what I used to think about them; nothing but a joke. It wasn't until a debate that made me think otherwise. As flawed as their "beliefs" (empahasis on parenthesis because I'll explain later) may be, a few of them are pretty insightful and have given a lot of thought about it.
It was then I realize they're doing it for kicks. A kind of mind exercise by creating facade and enforcing it to create a positive feedback loop.
I would join this group if I could.
But the genuine tinfoil hat members outnumber them.
