I hope the Allies wouldn't act too aggressive if some trigger-happy chink accidentally jolts a gun. It's not going to be pretty picture with unicorns and rainbows. It will be a scene of Mutually Assured Destruction.

During the normandy landing the allies uses barrage balloons to hinder low flying aircraft from straffing the troops embarking on the beach...

I intend to ask help coz I know that any war that will happen, we cannot win by ourselves. Or ask help for that not to take place in the first place, like what US and Japan is doing right now. Coz lets face it, no matter what you say bout us fighting our own wars, we cant do jack sh*t, period. Cant even win a war against fellow countrymen.
Yes, your first statement is spot on, those raring to be on our side are in it to further their national interest. As to fcuk China up, it is kinda too late for that as the worlds economy are too intertwined, shortsightedness of the west is what made it possible... Unless those powers want to go all out balls to the wall... What China is doing is akin to what the US did before, turning the Caribbean into an American lake, China also want to do the same to the SCS/WPS, by slowly turning it into a Chinese lake... Who blinks first in this pissing contest is my guess...

Yes understandable to ask for help when the time comes, but we also have to do our part, not just rely solely on others to do our work for us otherwise... As from what I understood so far from this zarzuela, it was our chest thumping that triggered these chain of events and when our bluff was called, we ran crying to good ole Uncle Sam... Maka ulaw kaayu... Can't do jack sh*t is kinda too harsh, we can either go honorably or the cowards way out, again is up to us... And not winning our own wars, go ask the politicians... If the Sri-Lankans can do it, why can't we...

Maybe outright capitulation is not such a bad idea, considering our current condition...
