@sancarlos brad if naa kay contact sa sulod sa school, ask if kinsay members sa board.. just say priest or sisters or private individuals or private investors... if naa gani investors, you know the reasons why...
about helping those in need, how can you pay the teachers, janitors, security guards, Bill$$$ (reklamo mn gani ta sa bill balay, what more on big buildings) plus Accreditation... and do you think all students can pay? daghan promisory note sa accounting ai... And also, MAINTENANCE.. nya every school must have their own service in case naay student need to be transported to a hospital...
in short dghang labad ang maghimo ug school.. and do you think all buildings will last forever? and building a new one is not cheap..

for me, i dont like schools with no open field esp sa school na imong gi.mention na wala nay soccer field.. This is bec in case of fire or earthquake, where will the students run?

changing Religion? what Muslim? even Seventh day adventists have their own school.. and also my niece recently enrolled on a Christian school,(not specific), but the tuition is higher than her previous Catholic school... IDK why mahal...

back to your topic about your school? probably naay investors naghandle or take part sa school.. and still using the name of the school...

Mao na. Sometimes you become confused on the purpose of the Catholics as institution and religion. Principles that you thought they should be is now being challenged by their new perspective and paradigm. Maayo pa mo balhin na lang ug laing religion that still has the same paradigm we thought good religion should be.
Like you, I am also a student of a Catholic school from elem. to College.

Pero matud pa nimo, Maayo pa mo balhin na lang ug laing religion that still has the same paradigm we thought good religion should be. Well, pwede kayo.. God gave us the gift of freewill.

Naa ra man diay na. And you think dili ingon ana ang ubang schools run by other denominations? You'll be surprised.

By the way naka study pud ko ug catholic school and i never had problems with that. My parents knows na mahal gyud but we got our money's worth and i still hold on to the values taught to me and right now i'm studying at my 3rd catholic school and had to admit mas mahal ni but the facilities, instructors, materials and all others are worth it. You can't expect to get that from donations and charities alone. Values, religion and ethics is still part of our lessons. I can say that i got value for my money and value for my soul.

I'll end my post here because i know where it's going.

    Church for the poor...
    School for the poor...

    But billions of investments..
Catholic Church has billions invested in BPI, Philex, San Miguel | PinoyMoneyTalk.com

To Religious Schools and Churches : "take an active role not just in shaping the morality of its flock but also in developing a more practical and productive attitude towards money and finance."

Most of their playing grounds, soccer fields are turned into classrooms to maximize student and therefore profit. I am born catholic, raised as Catholic, but by heart I don not NOW embrace Catholic. I despise Rome for being too money focused, profit oriented, organization in the guise of religion. They own vast assets, lands, schools throughout the globe and they are still trying to dominate financially not SPIRITUALLY.
