^^ I'm skeptic about this Mars One. Even its leading supporter, Gerard ’t Hooft, the Dutch Noble laureate and ambassador for project doubted the mission plan. You would even raise an eyebrow if you know Mars One has a core staff of only three people: Norbert Kraft, chief medical officer; Arno Wielders, chief technical officer, and Bas Lansdorp, CEO. https://medium.com/matter/all-dresse...o-7e76df527ca0

yhokz101 what you've read about astronaut would suffocate after 68 days was actually the independent feasibility study done by MIT on Mars One mission plan.

It's a suicide mission and there will be nothing to report.. because those who will set foot on that planet will die in no time.

There have been many attempts to create a habitat here on earth completely isolated from the natural world and all of them have failed. We do not have the technology to sustain life outside this planet.

We are not that smart enough. If we are, we would have explored the deepest part of the ocean with ease.

    It can be done.

How can it be done is the costly question.

Just a huge waste of lives and resources. Unless they can do something about the food, technology to set-up a habitable zone, transportation speed, etc..., they're better off just making a TV series about it. This is too far a long shot in reality.

I can see it now; a human cartography cyborg scouting olympus mons when it's suddenly reminded of its humanity. Opens his anus hatch and dumped a wet one.
