nag sugod nka shearts or wla pa?

prepare lng jd na ma buslot imong bulsa if you are earning in peso.
basa2x online then apil ug free seminar para ma tubag imo pangutana. pero ayaw apply through agency. mahal2x ra ka.

the best visa to apply would be visa sub class 189 & 190.

i'm also planning to move my family to australia. naa mi sa kuwait ron, ako work was avaya telecommunication engineer, although business admin grad ko sa USJR (simang kaayo no?) but most of my experience was in the IT field after graduating mn gud.

quick question lang sir mac, unsa imo specialty sa IT? pila na ka ka-years nagwork ana? ang minimum requirement sa australia kay dapat at least 3 years naka ana nga work to claim 10 points mn tingali to.

ang pagapply sa australia is through points system & if i'm not mistaken, ang minimum score to get a PR visa 189 is 60 points as an IT professional. at least for my case as a telecommunication engineer.

naa pud sila certain points for age so ako pa nimo, apply naka as early as you can. for me 25 points nalang ko ky nalapas nako sa 30 points na age bracket.

anyways, magtinabangay ta diri as much as possible. since pareha mn ta maccebu nga nagsugod pa & pareho pud ta pamilyado na, so here are the things that i came to know from my research.

    1. gather all your documents, diploma, certification(special skills, marriage, birth, employment, etc), passport, basta all important & official papers about you & your family, gather it all & have it ready.

    2. you need to take IELTS exam. if maka-score ka ug band 7 overall, that will give you 10 points. if maka-score ka ug band 8 overall, that will give you 20 points.

it's up to you if you want to take up review classes on IELTS but daghan kaayo resources available sa net, just be diligent & resourceful enough to find them.

    3. you will need to contact an assessment body to evaluate your chosen skillset. i think sa ila ni ms moonwitchbleu was through ACS diba? mine is through EA(engineers australia). anhi ko nakuyawan coz ako baya diploma business admin nya ako work is telecommunication engineer. although naa ko certification sa avaya through pearson vue.

    4. then once if ok nana tanan, submit naka sa EOI through sa immi.gov.au na website. wala pa ni nako nabuhat so i'm not sure what comes next after that.

maybe ms moonwitchbleu can enlighten us what the next steps will be after pagsubmit na nimo sa EOI.
Salamat sa information boss. Taas taas dyud diay processo.

IT support ko bossing... mga more than 6 years nako ani na field....

Unsa maning EA og ACS agency ni sila? Mo evaluate ra sila saumo skillset? Y man kinahanglanon pani?

Nig abot australia ngita pakag kasudlan unya way kasigurohan kong makakita kag work na linya nimo unless kong nurse or web developer ka.

Believe ko saimo determination boss hopefully puhon maka migrate mo saimo pamilya sa australia.

Kay daghan mn kaau mangilad about sa ilang experience.
Naay mo ingon IT support siya for 10 years nya sa tinuod kay 2 years bantay internet cafe.

    Dili nlng ko mangambisyon oi.

    @maccebu,

EA is Engineers Australia while ACS is Australian Computer Society.

sila ni mo-evaluate sa imo offical papers like TOR, employment cert, etc. as sir dignos said, kinahanglan jud ni para ma-verify kung tinuod ba jud na imo experience, skill & knowledge.

yes it is true, hassle & daghan kaayo ang requirement para maka-migrate. we're not even talking about IELTS yet nga required jud siya. dapat makakuha ka ug not less than 7 overall band score nimo para makakuha ka ug points.

the whole point ani nga process is just for you to get a PR or permanent residence visa. ig-abot nimo didto, literally start from scratch jud ka, no work, no place to stay(unless naa ka kaila nimo didto). ikaw pa mangita ug work, ikaw na gasto tanan sa food & lodging nimo.

what you may not know lang pud is july is winter time in australia while december is summer time didto so as i write this post, bugnaw kaayo didto ron, on some parts, naa pud snow.

mao pud na concern jud nako ron is that my degree is totally different from my experience. working student mn ko pag-college & naka-huna2x ko na magshift ug course to IT/compsci or computer engineering unta to but at that time naka ana ko sa ako self na hassle na kaayo coz mosamot na kadugay magskwela ko labi na 2nd sem 3rd year nako naka-huna2x ug inana.

dugay naman jud ko interested sa computer & all the fundamentals self study ra so right after college, ni-apply ko as IT help desk which i think is the same experience as yours sir maccebu.

i was IT help desk sa cebu & was fortunate enough nga na-hire ko abroad. initially, i was hired as a senior avaya technician, until nga nahimo ko as avaya telecommunications engineer. then to make it more credible, i decided to take the avaya certification through pearson vue, which i renewed recently para active ra japon siya.

unsa mn imo experience as IT help desk sir? overall na siya? i mean hardware & software maintenance? or is it something specific like data center help desk?

naa pud ka mga certification sir maccebu?

karon pako kabantay sa imo post sir dignos. wala pa ko kasugod jud. at this point, preparation for IELTS ako focus ron & gathering of needed documents.

i'm not sure exactly how much coz naglibog lagi ko if anhi ba jud sa EA ko magpa assess kay lahi ako course mao pud na gikalibgan nako.

i'm at a crossroad karon if i-push ba jud ni nako ang pag apply for PR sa australia or if moskwela ba ko.

my plan was if mada nako apply ug PR ron for australia then ok, but if not, plan nako moskwela ko ug masteral course na engineering para mas-eligible ko but despite na masteral course which has fewer subjects or courses para ma-completo, medyo daku2x jud ma-gasto.

madala2x man unta to, but ang nakalisud is disidido mn gud si misis pa-construct na sa balay namo dira sa cebu. i understand her sentiments about this kay lisud kaayo wala pa mi balay, we don't want to have to live in our parents' home each time manguli mi dira sa cebu kay pamilyado nami.

so mao na dilemma nako ron, but despite that, either way, kailangan ko mo-take ug IELTS coz required siya on both matters, pag apply ug PR & para pagskwela nako sa masteral course.

Sa mga nangandoy mag australia, share lang pud ko ug pointers; currently working here in australia for more than two years. Naay duha ka paagi aron mka sulod sa Australia either naa mo hire sa inyo ug mo sponsor ug visa (457) or personally mo mo apply ug PR visa.

In my case, usa ko sa naswertehan na g offeran ug trabaho ug g sponsoran ug visa aron maka anhi diri sa australia. Ang naka nindot sa Australia bisan ug under ka sa working visa (457) pwede ni siya mahimong PR after two years.
So while nag process pa mo papaers for PR application suway lang sa mo ug apply apply sa job hiring sites basin diay naa mo hire unya mo sponsor ug visa.
