mao lage.... naa unta ta CEBU.. queen city of the south.. wala tay race track..
Blame the renters who kept on crashing the rentals hahahaha daghan kaayo mu crash oi kay overspeeding (and overconfident) into the corners, everyday I see at least 2-3 who crashes into the barriers.

If you want a better experience I'd really suggest get your own kart since a racing kart is SO SO SO SO MUCH BETTER than a rental and you can adjust and tweak everything to your liking.

As for the race track... cost and ROI usually ang maka stop sa investors from really building one. Kibaw bya ka sa mga Cebuano tihik kaayo... bisag sa karting pa lang dili na gani mu gasto samot na kung circuit racing which is around 10x (not exaggerated by the way) the cost of karting.

Are there enough parts that can be bought here in Cebu to build your own Cart? e.g. tires, rims, clutch, etc.? Want to do this for me and my son.

Yup, Kartzone can also source these parts for you (brand new or 2nd hand). You can visit the track and look for the manager Kym.

Update: We are doing a racing clinic FOR CARS to be held at Kartzone this June 27-28.

    Basic Course (Php 1,500)
    Advanced Course (php 5,000)

There will be also a "school car" that you can rent for Php 1,500 if you don't want to use your own car.

UPDATE: The clinic has been cancelled until further notice.

If you are interested we are conducting a short course based on the actual Level 1 and Level 2 course from Tuason Racing. We have converted it into an "Autocross" course instead of a circuit based lesson since the only events we have locally in Cebu are autocrosses.

The instructors for this course will be some of the top autocross drivers from Cebu as well as the Cebu drivers that compete in the National Vios Cup in Manila.

And yes, we have also gone through the Tuason Racing Level 1 and 2 course in Clark International Speedway (Approx 40k per student), just to see how they do it so that we can pass on the knowledge to you guys. So if you really are serious in beefing up your driving skill, you should not miss this
