I agree about "language influences" and "basta magkasinabot lng" but his point (foreigner) is talking about solely on Filipino Language (w/c is our national language) because when it comes to job applications even if some forms using Filipino Language they still answer English words.
Example in filling-up forms:
Kasarian: Male or Female (ang i-answer sa ng fill-up) nga naa mn unta Lalaki or Babae nga words.
Trabaho : Manager (ang i fill up or i-sulat) bisan naa mn word "Manedyer"
Again, his concern is why we borrow words when we cannot use it in general (nationally). So iya pasabot nga pra lng ba diay ni kung makig-istorya?
Mao gyud @L!ck!ty Spl!t ...mura gi propose nmn ni sa CHED nga tangtangon na ang Filipino sa college. Ambot unsa na kaha status ani...daghan mn sd nisupak..
I believe it's for the uniformity....English is mostly used for legal documents(with a Filipino translation at times) and almost everyone "gets" it...
I quote this comment from youtube above (Glyd Jun Aranes):
"Cebuano is a language because it has its own grammar rules and systems, even if it is similar to Tagalog. But if you compare, say, Cebuano in Cebu to Cebuano in Davao, then Davao Cebuano is a dialect of Cebuano Cebu. Filipino as a national language is a political term only."
di ko makarelit ani maypa magpalit sa kog papsikel didto
