forgot to mention, a919i's phone jack sound is far amazingly great compared to hd 2 (even tested both with high-end 3rd party headset, same result); dont know why, probably due to rumors that a919i has an ample internal amplifier (mitsubishi brand, i believe).
by the way, hd2 has a bit longer battery life compared to a919i's on typical usage (tested on untouched all stock systems / surely this is due to bigger battery of hd2 with well battery-configured stock system). youll still need a 3rd party power bank on both though if youre a hardcore user..
a919's screen is protected by AGC sodaline scratch resistant coating (though not as tough as with the HD2 which has the dragontrail glass, but again, all of us install screen protectors anyway ^^)... and best of all, OTG capable(insert directly all your external usb flash disk, external HDD, mouse, keyboard, or other USB interfaced multimedia equipment) which the hd2 does not have.
still, wish it had the nice design and thin body of the hd2... a919i has only typical design and thickness (it looks thick due to the curvature design of the back, and plus with a philippine map too of which they should have put legends & street names lol)
so there you go; weight things up, follow your preferences, and decide.
anyhow, both are fast android upper-level phones that will surely eat any multimedia you are going to intake; may they be full hd blue-ray movies, hardcore 3D heavy games & apps, high bitrates audio files, editing high resolution image and video files, or heavy youp*rn HD streaming ^^ bring it on!
